Article Marketing Creates Tremendous Traffic to Your Website

September 20th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Article Publishing, Blog Traffic, Business, Copywriting, Make Money, Online Income, make money online

The submission of articles to the article banks is a well known method of generating traffic. While you may not accomplish much in the near future by learning how to write and submit articles, knowing how can serve you for a long time and is well worth the effort of learning and using to your greatest benefit. Though you may not feel up to writing Moby Dick because you don’t have any writing ability but you are likely wrong. You can provide information about your website and your products because you know exactly what they are. All that is necessary is that you know the rules for effective article writing. Of most importance is the headline or title. This MUST have key words relating to your website and your products. The first thing that eZine publishers or other website owners look at when deciding to publish your article are the key words in the title because they know that the search engines look at those.

* Note: Search engines are used by people looking for information or products on the internet. They type “key words” in the search box and click submit. An example might be “planting tomatoes” or “growing tomatoes”. What the search engine returns is based on whatever key words were entered into the search box.

Your article title or headline MUST grab the reader’s attention. Simply using a title of “Making Money” probably won’t do. The title must grab the reader by the throat and not let him go. It must make the reader want to keep reading. “Making Money Online”… well, not very good either. How about “Making Money Online in Your Houseshoes” or “Making a Bundle Online Before Breakfast”. Something to capture the reader’s attention if they are interested in making money on the internet.

After the title, the next most important words in your article are in the first line. Experienced internet surfers are well known for having a short attention span and rarely read anything word for word unless it is information that they think will meet their needs, solve a problem they have or make life better for them. So…the title…and the first line become the bait and the hook that is used to lure the reader to truly read the complete article. If the first line contains the key words it must also be be attention getting. “The customers were begging for more tips after the first line!” If you were an internet marketer, wouldn’t you keep reading?

The article banks want short articles. Brief, in fact! The longest an article should be is 400 words but closer to 300 is better. You can get carried away and end up with an article that is 1000 words or more when discussing a subject in which you are interested and know a lot about. If you wind up with a long wordy article just break it down into three or four short articles.

Use short sentences and short paragraphs. Remember that short attention span that we talked about? Don’t use big words and don’t use run-on sentences. Make your article easy to read.

Take it easy on those exclamation points. One exclamation point is all that is necessary to indicate importance or excitement… half a dozen are just rude.

Your resource box at the end of the article is the part that is most important to you. Other website owners or E-zine publishers who download and reproduce your article are required to include your resource box. This box needs to contain your full name, your contact information and, most importantly, a link to your website. That link is the little thing that is going to help increase traffic for you.

Warning! Do NOT word-wrap your url! It must be typed out in full, http://www.whatever.com. Not all E-zine editors send out their newsletters and E-zines using email programs that support word-wrapped links so it is possible to ruin your own purpose by word-wrapping your website url.

Submitting Articles: Once you have found article banks and article repositories on the Internet by simple doing a search using your favorite search engine it is time to submit your articles. Every site has their own guidelines for accepting articles which you must follow or risk rejection.

Software is available for use in automatically submitting articles to the article repositories and banks. The problem here is that most of the larger, more effective repositories and banks will not publish automated submissions. So even though this software can save time when submitting to smaller sites, this doesn’t help much with the bigger more well known sites.

Submitting articles can be time consuming and boring, but it is work that will provide a lot of targeted traffic to your site. Every person who reads an article you’ve written is also exposed to your URL. If they like the article because it provides good information for them, they will visit your site. Once there, they may buy something you are selling or maybe opt-in for your mailing list… or possibly even do both. There are services available to submit your articles for you. You do have to pay for this service.

The best solution and one I use is Unique Article Wizard. UAW can submit unique articles to hundreds of eZine publishers at the push of a button. Spend a few hours creating your article, Push Submit, sit back, and watch the traffic to your site increase astronomically.

Author Porfirio G Krasternak uses theUnique Article Wizard to make sure each article submitted is unique. For more information on how you can submit unique articles to all the article publishers, go toUnique Article Wizard.

The next most important words are in the first line of the first paragraph of your article. People surfing the internet today have terribly short attention span and mostly skim for information unless it is information that they think is going to solve a problem, make life better for them or serve a need. As you can see, the title and first line are bait and hook used to encourage a reader to continue on and read to the end of the article. Again, the first line must contain the key words and grab attention. “The women were hanging all over my car looking at all the neat gadgets I had”. If you were looking for attention from women, you would keep reading.

One more thing about your articles is that they need to be short if you intend to submit them to article banks. Very short! No more than 400 words but closer to 300 words would be more appropriate. Sometimes we can get carried away and all of a sudden have an article that is 1000 words or more. This can happen if you are writing about a subject in which you are interested and knowledgeable about. When this happens just break a long article down into a couple of shorter articles.

Choosing the Best Article Marketing Software

August 5th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Article Publishing, Business, Make Money, Online Income, Recommend Sites, Reviews

Getting a website developed by a professional like ThinkPro.net is a great place to start, but even the best in the business will only get you so far. The programming is the trigger to get you ranked, but you are still going to need to create backlinks that will get indexed by Google to allow you to rise in the rankings. The best way to do this is through a very aggressive UAW article writing campaign.

When most people look up how to promote their own site, article marketing is probably the most recommended. What they don?t understand is that Google only indexes one piece of content one time. If you are using a standard article submission service and only one source box, you run the risk of having that article and source box that are submitted to thousands of directories only getting recognized once by the search engines.

This is something that very few of the article services will tell you about. They try and ram big numbers down your throat, but in the end, all of those directories are useless because the content will not get recognized by Google. All you end up doing is pouring valuable money down the drain.

The one thing that you can do is use an ?article spinning program? that will change out keywords throughout the articles to give them a somewhat unique look to them. The danger in doing this is that while a synonym will work in some contexts, it will not work in all of them. When it is used inappropriately by the program, you end up with gibberish and possible clients shaking their head.

There is no arguing the fact that article marketing works, but there has to be a better way of getting unique content other than spending the money to have thousands of unique articles written for you and then submitting them to directories. The answer is UAW or Unique Article Wizard Article Writing. This will allow you to literally have thousands of articles generated off of just three original articles.

UAW article writing is something that should be done by a freelance writer unless you are experienced in this style of writing. It is very unique are very particular and if you are not careful, you could end up with an article similar to ones that are produced by the spinning services. Choose an article writing service that is proven and successful at UAW writing.

You are going to need to do some type of article marketing if you are going to be successful on the web. Without adequate backlinks, your site will just be floundering in cyberspace. Simply put, there is not better method than UAW Article Writing and the right service can get you to the front page of Google before you know it.

Twitter Authority-What Is It?

August 4th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Article Publishing, Business, Twitter

Twitter authority is a term that I generated to denote a website that is dedicated to the use of twitter in an efficient manner or manner that will result in more business for more followers.

This authority could be used to track down celebrities on twitter or could be a website that uses a process to post automatically on twitter all day long. There many well-known twitter authorities on the web now.

Some are more known than others, because they’ve got more publicity. However, this does not mean that they are better at what they are trying to do.

If I had to give an opinion, I would say to look for as many twitter authorities as you possibly can. If they fulfill it your looking for then you’re doing well. Try not to just settle for the most popular twitter authorities, because it’s the easiest thing to do.

Some authorities will assist you in getting a lot of followers, quickly. The other option, is to manually select followers, which could take forever. The automatic method could get you over 1000 followers in a very short time.

Aside from being very boring, it would take a lot of time. You may not have to spare.

Remember to try a lot of twitter authorities until you find one that works well for you. The more you try, the more likely you’ll find one that’ll help you get more customers and more followers. Eventually, these followers will go to your website and hopefully purchase your product.

Don’t forget to opt in to receive unlimited twitter traffic.

Twitter can be fun and exciting.

How to find affiliate products for your online business

July 12th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Article Publishing, Make Money, Online Income

Internet marketing began with webmasters being paid every time a banner or ad was displayed on their website. This was not lucrative for either the company or the webmaster. The companies ads could easily be placed on websites that were not relevant to their product. Yes, people were viewing their ads but were not very likely to buy. Companies reacted by lowering the amount they paid or raising the amount a webmaster must earn to receive payment. Read More!

Is Wordpress.com Business Friendly?

May 10th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Article Publishing, Free Wordpress Themes, Make Money, Online Income, Reviews

Knowledge is potential power. The goal of my website is to provide knowledge that assists readers in making money online and learn from other people’s costly mistakes. I recently had some business dealing with Wordpress.com. I have decided to write about my dealings with Wordpress.com. Hoping that all readers will learn from my situation. This information should allow you to save both time and frustration.

Brucesmoneyrants.com  is the second incarnation of my making money blog. My first attempt was hosted at Wordpress.com. I chose Wordpress.com because of my past dealings with the Wordpress software. I had tried out software from Blogger.com and several other sites. Wordpress has several features that drew me in. Wordpress allows users to easily extend their blog’s functionality through widgets and plugins.

I started looking for a hosted Wordpress solution. Wordpress.com was built by the same people who worked on the Wordpress software (WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org, n.d). Wordpress.com offered many inviting features including:

  • Built on the Wordpress software that I already liked
  • Stated that they had over 70 templates available
  • Ability to add widgets and plug ins
  • Ability to track daily stats from your main dashboard
  • Having a blog that was “xxxx.wordpress.com”

The relationship started out well. I signed up three blogs “emergencymgmt.wordpress.com”, “lifeofreedom.wordpress.com”, and “brucesmoneyrants.wordpress.com”. I focused on brucesmoneyrants.wordpress.com. I began looking for an appropriate template. When I went to the available templates, I found approximate a dozen templates. Access to the 70 plus templates requires payment. Not a problem, there were many free templates available online. I went and found one I really liked, only to find out that you cannot upload external templates. No problem, they had one I liked.
