Online Affiliate Marketing News for Saturday September 26, 2007

September 27th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Blog Traffic, Business, Make Money, Online Income, Pay Per Click Affiliate Programs, Recommended Blogs, Reviews, make money online

Successfully Online Affiliate Marketing requires cultivating skills like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), finding affiliate programs to market, and creating successful online affiliate marketing campaigns. Many online affiliate marketing gurus produce websites and blogs that rocket your start into marketing. We have searched the internet and brought you stories to help you make more money with online affiliate marketing.

Shawn Collins provides insights into producing a Multi-Brand Niche Affiliate Program
Shawn Collins’s Affiliate Tip site is one of my favorite marketing blogs. Shawn has been a successful online affiliate marketing guru for many years. One of Shawn’s most recent posts bring readers information about creating a multi-brand niche affiliate program. Shawn brings readers a video of Stephanie Schwab, Vice President, Converseon’s presentation from Affiliate Summit East 2009. Shawn states, “This case study will provide solid examples of what to do (and what not to do) when promoting a niche program and building a multi-brand program, including all of the affiliate tools and resources used for SEAN, recruiting tips, communications materials, and stats and conversion rates.” (Building a Multi-Brand Niche Affiliate Program, 2009).

Straight Talk on Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can be very confusing, especially for online affiliate marketing newbies. Shawn has posted another presentation from Affiliate Summit East 2009. Shawn describes this presentation as:

“Brief presentation on Search Engine Optimization with a heavy focus on Q&A. A very open, honest and straight to the point discussion about search engines that covers some common myths and will leave you with some information and action items as it relates to search and your business.” (Straight Talk on Search Engine Optimization, 2009)

How To Become Blogging Ninja
I have to admit that I began reading this article because of the title. After all “Blogging for Ninjas” brings forth pictures of men in little black suits running around my keyboard ensuring that my blog will be a success. Of course, those pictures are not at all the author’s intent. Miguel Wickert’s blog provides some valuable insights into the level of work a successful blog requires and things you can do to become a blogging ninja. For example, Wicker drives home the importance of learning by doing by saying, “…we can read the best books on writing or swimming but if you never actually practice writing/swimming as often as possible, guess what? You won’t perform, impress, grow or learn to teach others.” (How To Become Blogging Ninja, 2009)

Link Building Campaign With Article Marketing
Since I began blogging, article marketing has caught my attention. My love of writing brought me to blogging. Article marketing plays directly to my love of writing. I get to write more articles and submit them to blog directories.  ThouShallBlog offers a great explanation of article marketing and how it produces quality backlinks. ThouShallBlog stated, “Writing articles remains one of the best ways to drive targeted traffic to your site, and increase more sales.” (Link Building Campaign with Article Marketing, 2009)

For anyone new to online affiliate marketing, the internet provides a wealth of information. These are just a few online affiliate marketing articles that were published this week. We have chosen the ones that provide information any new online affiliate marketing professional needs to know. Please take a moment and subscribe to our blog. We will routinely bring you new articles to explode your online affiliate marketing earnings.

Reporter vs Expert – Why Most Bloggers Are Stuck Reporting

May 18th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Make Money, Online Income, Recommend Sites, Recommended Blogs, Reviews

There are basically two types of bloggers in the world – reporters and experts – and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it’s hard for reporters to become experts, but it’s easy for experts to report).

If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.

I’ll be frank; you want to be the expert.

Reporters leverage the content of the experts and in most cases people start off as reporters because they haven’t established expertise. Experts enjoy the perks of preeminence, higher conversion rates because of perceived value, it’s easier to get publicity, people are more likely to seek you out rather than you having to seek others out, joint ventures come easier, etc experts in most cases simply make more money and attract more attention.

Competition is Good for Bloggers

May 12th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Make Money, Online Income, Recommended Blogs, Uncategorized

Many bloggers have spoken about the need for finding niche markets and avoiding market saturation. Leading many to believe that the only way to make money online is to avoid or at least minimize competition. Yuwanda Black of Bloggingtips.com recently wrote Freelance Writers: How to Make Money from the Competition. The title caught my eye immediately. The content made me re-think my beliefs about competition.

Blogging has become an industry in its own right. Millions of new websites (a large number of them blogs) go live every month. According to Netcraft.com: The November 2008 survey [of Web Server stats] shows worldwide monthly growth of nearly three million websites, with responses now being received from a total of 185,167,897 sites. [Source: http://news.netcraft.com].

At first glance, this statistic would seem overwhelming and very discouraging. Will not all that competition saturate the market? Black states that “Other freelance writers allow you to start your business quicker” (Freelance Writers: How to Make Money from the Competition, 2009). How could competition assist you in starting your own business?

Man Makes $13k in 5 Months, Doubles Salary, and Turns Down $25k Raise

May 9th, 2009 | Posted in Affiliate Income, Affiliate Marketing, Make Money, Online Income, Personal Branding, Recommended Blogs

One of my favorite blogs is I Will Teach You To Be Rich. It is one of the blogs on the top of my Bloglines list. I Will Teach You To Be Rich recently published an article about an e-mail a reader had submitted entitled How Todd Made $15,000 in 5 months, doubled his salary, and turned down a $25,000 raise. Todd recounts how he took his employer up on every possible training opportunity, worked more hours than others, and did whatever it took to get the job done. His efforst quickly earned him the promise of a 25% raise. His company did not come through with the raise. After two months of following up with his superiors, Todd polished his resume and quickly obtained another job. His new position was double his current salary.

Todd has illustrated how globalization and the United States move to a knowledge based society has returned power to the worker. If we are willing to go out, expand our knowledge, and deliver more than expected, we will be recognized. That recognition may not come from our current employer, however, it will be noticed by someone.

Todd’s story also illustrates the need for companies to shift from the addage that “there is always someone needing a job”. That is true, especially now, there is always someone looking for a job. But, are they the best person for the job. Would the company not be better off to spend more money and time retaining effective employees than spending precious resources recruiting new ones?
